My client, a leading independent design company based in Reading is looking to recruit a Customer Service Courier into their team. This role involves collecting and delivering products to the customer in specific timescales. This role is the first point of face to face contact the company has with the client so remaining professional, presentable and helpful at all times is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be flexible to assist with collections and deliveries, sometimes at short notice.
- To represent the company in a professional manner.
- Deliver an excellent level of customer service to clients.
- Drive a company vehicle and take responsibility of the care and running of it.
- Liaise with internal colleagues at head office to ensure deliveries can be made in an efficient timescale.
- Liaise with internal customer service team if there are to be any changes to delivery/collections.
- Support the team if short-staffed to ensure the company maintains the efficient timescales.
Skills and Experience required:
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organised and efficient
- A professional attitude with the motivation to progress through the company.
