Role Overview
:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) with experience in Health & Social Care to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the development of our assessors and trainers. The IQA role is a hybrid role with both remote and face to face working required. This role will cover the North of England and the ability to travel to support our business requirements is a must.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Conduct regular quality assurance activities, including observations, sampling, and audits of assessment practices.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to assessors, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality assurance activities.
- Lead standardization meetings and training sessions for assessors and trainers.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of assessment processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including awarding bodies and regulatory authorities, as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised IQA qualification (e.g., TAQA, V1, or equivalent)
- Significant experience in a quality assurance role within the apprenticeship sector for Health & Social Care
- Occupational experience within the H&SC sector
- In-depth knowledge of current apprenticeship standards and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using e-portfolios and other digital assessment tools.
