: This is a hybrid role with a mix between remote working and travel across the North of England (you cover everything midlands and up)

Role Overview

:

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) with experience in Health & Social Care to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the development of our assessors and trainers. The IQA role is a hybrid role with both remote and face to face working required. This role will cover the North of England and the ability to travel to support our business requirements is a must.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Conduct regular quality assurance activities, including observations, sampling, and audits of assessment practices.
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to assessors, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality assurance activities.
  • Lead standardization meetings and training sessions for assessors and trainers.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of assessment processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including awarding bodies and regulatory authorities, as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recognised IQA qualification (e.g., TAQA, V1, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in a quality assurance role within the apprenticeship sector for Health & Social Care
  • Occupational experience within the H&SC sector
  • In-depth knowledge of current apprenticeship standards and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using e-portfolios and other digital assessment tools.
