My client is growing regional contractor, that due to an increase in developments in the Northwest are looking for a document controller. This contractor is forward thinking and really making a significate impact within its marketplace.

They deliver a solid range of projects from refurbishment to new builds, across various sectors Project values £0.5million up to around £10million. These include projects on schools, NHS, industrial and some civils works. As a document controller you will have excellent communication and multi tasking skills, being used to working in a busy on site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents and drawings.
  • Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  • Generate the various document control reports as required.
  • Support Project and Design Managers by ensuring that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
  • Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
  • Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
