**Overview
Our clients, located in Birmingham, are looking to take on an Accounts Junior in their busy, constantly growing company. The company are looking for a bright and exciting, junior candidate who has strong people skills from working in customer service style roles that will allow them to confidently take on this role. This position is a great opportunity for someone who doesn't have much, if any, accounts experience, to get their foot in the door in this temporary to permanent position.
This role will involve a wide range of duties with an Accounts Junior role, it will involve general admin duties which will require strong communication skills. It will also involve some finance duties such as processing invoices, preparing payment runs and some reconciliation. Although this role will cover a variety of tasks, our clients are enthusiastic about taking someone on that doesn't have that much experience, that they will be able to train up.
**Skills Required
- Have experience working in a customer focused role, such as accounts, administration, customer service, hospitality etc.
- Be a confident, enthusiastic person who will commit themselves to expanding their knowledge within the role.
- Be confident using Microsoft programmes, such as Office and Excel.
- Have great communication skills, as this role will revolve a lot around interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
