My client operates around their customers' core needs across different solutions. The Group Marketing Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will need to be able to think strategically, be highly creative and analytical, as well as having the ability to be a hands-on marketer.

This is a pivotal role to help shape and support the delivery of the retail marketing strategy and plans that elevate brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive business growth.

A networked role, working in a business partner capacity as part of the Retail SLT, you'll be a key player, weaving connections, influencing decisions, and making things happen.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing business partner responsible for the broader retail marketing strategy and supporting enterprise marketing initiatives where required. Seek creative and unique approaches to engage customers and differentiate the retail product brands.
  • Be the marketing business partner for retail and a representative on the retail senior leadership team, fostering strong relationships and collaborations with other senior leaders to understand on align on objectives and strategies.
  • Accountable for executing and delivering the product marketing plans for all retail product brands and evaluating the results of the marketing spend, including keeping control over multi-channel campaign spend, forecasting and delivering positive ROI.
  • Embrace and lead digital transformation with the retail marketing function. Working in partner with product and design, explore new technologies and digital platforms to enhance the customer experience and deliver a consistent brand experience.
  • Lead and inspire a developing retail marketing team. Encourage a culture of fearless creativity and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring the development of their skills and experiences.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the wider enterprise marketing team, product, technology, sales, and sales enablement to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated seamlessly into the overall business strategy.
  • Be the customer champion for retail, ensuring we conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and opportunities for growth. Build on these insights to drive into the wider business plus, identify and manage segmentation for campaigns to ensure messaging is relevant to intended audience.
  • Responsible for budget management across all retail product brands, providing regular reports and insights, translating data into actionable insights and demonstrating strong ROI.
  • Ensure brand consistency, quality control and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing collateral.
  • You must be able to travel regularly throughout the UK and EU.

Skills and experience required:

  • We're on the lookout for someone with not just a degree (Business or Marketing) but with a diploma in turning ideas into marketing marvels.
  • Fluent in the language of digital marketing and a track record that's the envy of lead generators, brand builders and content marketing aficionados.
  • Ability to turn data into action? We need strong analytical skills and excellent ability to influence business decisions.
  • A self-starter extraordinaire? Someone who brings a dash of individual skill, a sprinkle of creativity and a truckload of tenacity.
