Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is hiring on behalf of their client for a Low-Code Applications Developer (FULLY REMOTE) with occasional office visits onsite near Taunton, Somerset.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Low-Code Application Developer to join our team and play a key role in building innovative internal applications using low-code platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate those needs into efficient applications with a focus on user experience (UX), and ultimately drive process improvements within the company.
Hours of work are between Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. The annual salary is £35,000 PA.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:
? Develop, test, and deploy internal applications using low-code platforms such as UI Bakery, Retool, Airtable, and Zapier.
? Utilise pre-built UI components and integrations offered by the low-code platform to create a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.
? Leverage your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customise the user interface (UI) of low-code applications for optimal user experience.
? Focus on front-end development to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
? Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for internal applications, focusing on streamlining processes through automation and integration.
? Serve as an internal consultant for low-code solutions, providing guidance and training to team members.
Lifecycle Management:
? Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and support.
? Collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless data integration.
? Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application functionality and reliability.
? Document applications for future reference and maintenance.
Continuous Improvement:
? Develop automated workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent ICT skills.
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications in UI/UX design are a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of experience developing applications using a low-code platform (experience with tools like Retool, UI Bakery, Airtable, and Zapier is a plus).
- Proven experience with low-code development platforms.
- Experience working on any kind of software development project is preferred.
- Familiarity with Supabase or similar backend platforms is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experience.
- UI/UX Proficiency: Strong background in UI/UX design, with experience in creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Low-Code Platform Experience: Proficient in at least one low-code platform such as UI Bakery, Retool, Airtable, or Zapier.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development. Understanding of UX design principles is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively gather and articulate requirements from stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, with excellent attention to detail.
- API and Integration Knowledge: Understanding and experience with APIs and integrations (RESTful APIs preferred).
