Description
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be working with a team of multi-skilled engineers, working across the facility on both mechanical & some electrical equipment, as well as;
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance programmes and schedules recommending improvements where appropriate, to ensure efficiency's are maximised
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to ensure downtime is minimised
- Analyse line efficiency, wastage and downtime data with a view to identifying areas for performance improvement
- Identifying faulty equipment by consulting manufacturer's manuals & reading detailed mechanical exploded drawings to resource and order replacement parts
- Proactive approach to production line equipment with the implementation of Continuous Improvements to drive better performance
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday - 8 Hours
Rotating Morning / Afternoon / Nights
Profile
You will be a Maintenance Technician/Engineer who is either Mechanical/Electrical or Multi-skilled & has experience within a fast-paced environment as well as:
- Recognised Engineering qualification - Mechanical/Electrical engineering
discipline.
- In depth knowledge of maintenance systems and processes
- Ideally conversant with PLC's & knowledge of robotics
- Good decision making skills, confident and approachable
