Customer Operations Manager – Up to £50,000 – Derby

VIQU are recruiting for a customer operations manager on behalf of an award-winning business dedicated to delivering innovative worldwide solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and proven experience of leading a team who has helped to support transactions. The customer service manager will lead a rapidly growing service desk team, ensuring customer issues are dealt with effectively whilst providing high quality support.

Requirements of the Customer Service Manager:

  • Proven experience in managing and developing service desk teams in a payment, retail technology, logistics, or similar industries which involve high-volume transactions.
  • Experience in troubleshooting some form of payment system/ transaction system (eg Point of Sale (POS), mobile payments, payment gateways ect.)
  • Familiarity with payment security standards or similar in adjacent industries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager:

  • Develop a growing service desk team, driving excellence in troubleshooting and supporting issues like transaction failures.
  • Motivate and manage other members of the service desk team.
  • Ensure the service desk operates efficiently and in line with business goals and security standards.
  • Manage escalations and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to identify areas for improvement.
