An excellent opportunity has risen for a Financial Planning Assistant to join an Accountancy Practice with a Wealth Management Division based in London. They provide expert and professional advice for both private clients and business.

The Position (Financial Planning Assistant)

Provide support to advisers on client related queries.

  • Facilitate arranging investments/policies/contracts for clients and liaising with the various parties concerned.
  • Prepare accurate documentation to agreed timeframes for annual and half yearly review meetings
  • Build rapport with our clients when speaking with them on the telephone, as well as communicate professionally with them by email.
  • Act as a 'go to in sorting out client related problems, providing support for
  • Contact and liaise with relevant product providers/third parties to obtain accurate policy information for product analysis, reports and valuations.
  • Challenge providers where information appears incorrect or is not provided in a timely manner.
  • Take detailed telephone and other messages in the absence or unavailability of the advisers and ensure that such messages are passed on promptly.

Ideally you will:

  • Experience working in an IFA Firm as a Financial Planning Assistant and in dealing with private clients who are accustomed to a high quality of service; ideally at least 2 years' experience.
  • Ability to provide product quotes/other paperwork, fund ratings/research, draft client letters, process client business, liaise with clients and product providers as required
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications and IFA systems
