A local Newbury Primary School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, responsible for supporting the KS1 students in Year 4.
The Year 4 Newbury students are in their formative years towards their SATs in the next coming years, you will be guiding them with their Numeracy, Literacy and Science work.
Key Duties for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
- Support the West Berkshire primary school students, it may be expected in the general classroom setting or 1:1 for selected students. The KS1 class teacher will offer guidance.
- Assist the KS1 teachers in resource management and preparation, classroom maintenance.
- Exhibit exceptional listening abilities.
- Demonstrate resilience and take on regular responsibilities for designated learning tasks.
- Build rapport with the Newbury KS1 students and their parent/guardians - demonstrating yourself to be trustworthy.
Qualifications:
- DBS disclosure - Mandatory
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (HTLA)
