Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician who has good troubleshooting skills covering Microsoft 365, hardware issues with desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices both remotely and deskside is required for a busy IT Help Desk / Service Desk with a well-established and leading manufacturing firm based in Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England.

SALARY: £28,506 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England (WA16) - Office Based

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday (Build and Bank Flexi Hours)

As a Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician you will work across the site in different buildings and environments, ensuring end-user issues are resolved swiftly and identifying areas for improvements. The company is investing more in their IT infrastructure to provide more modern systems for the different areas of the business who use IT in unique ways.

As a Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician you'll be the first point of contact for IT support queries; in person, over the phone, or via email to help troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

The company want to help their people use technology more efficiently, so you'll provide day-to-day support for Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).

  • Attention to detail with proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and to prioritise personal workload
  • Able to adopt a flexible approach and prioritise accordingly
