Your new role
As Assistant Accountant you will undertake the following main reposponsibilities:
Sales Ledger:
- Review outstanding sales orders weekly
- Review Aged Debtors weekly and correct issues
- Credit Control
- Calculating money in for cash flow
- Retentions Management
Payroll:
- Weekly Payroll processing
- Weekly Pensions upload
- Update payroll summary weekly and post Sage journals
- Post Sage payroll journals
- Manage and pay any AOE orders or deductions
Bank:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- All payments as required
Financial Management:
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly CIS returns
- Any reporting as required by the management team
- PAYE/NI Reconciliation - P32
What you'll need to succeed
The candidate should be hard-working, reliable and able to manage their own workload.Needs to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
This is an exciting role and will span across multiple companies.
Qualifications:
- AAT Qualified
- Strong IT Skills, Excel proficient
- Sage 50 and Xero Experience
