This role is on a 12 Month Sub -contact basis and would fit someone from a Aviation, Manufacturing, Production, Similar Industry Background.

The Role:
This role is for a dynamic EHS Lead, who will be responsible for providing a detailed level of support to the Ramp Up Project Leaders who are responsible for delivering key work packages of enabling projects for the Single Aisle Wing Programme. These projects directly support SA Rate Ramp Up and cover all areas of the business from ISS / PAC, Structures, Equipping, and Paint.-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.
You'll be reporting to EHS Lead and be responsible for:
- Maintaining H&S guidelines and understanding the law/ regulations
- Ideally candidate would hold diploma (Level 6) i.e Nebosh, and the agreed rate would be the high end of the bracket for these candidates.
- If there are no successful candidates at diploma level but there is a candidate who holds a recognised National certificate i.e Nebosh Certificate and was successful then the offer would be at the lower end of the pay bracket.
- Machining background would be desirable
- Working to eradicate risk across the factory
The Individual
We're looking for people who can show:
- Working on Plant & Equipment
- Have strong level of understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- A good understanding of operational and maintenance procedures
- Competency of using handling equipment (e.g. Electric fork trucks/Tugs/Cherry pickers/MEWPS).
- To have good underpinning knowledge of contamination risk control
- To have good underpinning knowledge of working with and around chemicals
