Description
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:
- Maintain short-term cash flow reporting to support decision making
- Support year end audits
- Finance compliance reporting
- Banking and internal cash reporting.
- Line manager 2 finance assistants.
- Monitor costs to ensure business meets financial objectives
- Provide support for production of monthly board pack
- Balance Sheet reporting
- Sales performance reporting - daily and weekly reporting.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong leadership skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
