This position is for a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC).

What You Will Do

  • Assist in the coordination of Client Money and statutory audits, including updates to management and stakeholders, gathering and reviewing evidence, and agreeing on action plans.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal management and external auditors to ensure audit progress remains on track and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all audit samples are completed by their due dates.
  • Collect and review evidence before submitting it to internal and external auditors.
  • Perform your responsibilities according to agreed processes, ensuring compliance with client and insurer money regulations as outlined by the FCA Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS).

We are seeking someone with:

  • Experience in a financial environment, preferably within a regulated financial services organisation, ideally in insurance or a large corporate setting, or familiarity with CASS 5 regulations.
  • Prior experience in auditing.
  • Knowledge of CASS 5 (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Experience using general ledger accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

In return, you'll be part of a supportive team in an organisation that values you and your well-being. Some of the benefits include:

  • 26 days of holiday entitlement plus bank holidays
  • Opportunities for career progression across the organisation
  • A pension scheme to support you when it's time to retire
  • 24-hour physical and mental health support
  • One paid volunteering day per year to give back to the community
