The Role
The position will report into the Head of Finance with a dotted line and regular contact to both the Head of Commercial Finance and the CFO. This is an extremely varied position, that has excellent exposure to both BAU, commercial and operational finance. The key components of the role will include:
BAU Finance
- Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Finance
- Mentoring, training and development of part qualified Accountant
- Leading a robust month-end close
- Feeding into annual audit
- Balance sheet integrity & reconciliations
- Maintenance of fixed assets
- VAT returns
- Overseeing maintenance of all ledgers & bank accounts
- Overseeing payroll data, accuracy and integrity
Commercial/Operational Finance
- Involvement in process/continuous improvement projects
- Production and presentation of monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting & re-forecasting
- Financial analysis - OPEX, CAPEX, sales, revenue, KPI's
- Supporting of ERP & dashboard developments
