Due to company growth, my client, a leading audio rental company are seeking a Warehouse Technician to work within their cables department.
Due to relocation the role will likely move to the Weybridge area later this year.
The successful candidate will:
Clean and prepare equipment - Test, clean, recoil, loom, and put away all cables
Checking and reporting for any damages to equipment
Ensure that equipment is correctly stored and labelled
In-service inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT)
Maintenance and Repairs, Fault finding and problem solving
Quality control
Stock control
Forklift driving – when training provided
Use of internal I.T software.
What skills and experience we are looking for:
A passion for technical work
Understanding of electrical wiring regulations - beneficial
In-service inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) – beneficial
Soldering experience is a must
Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
Comply with health and safety procedures
The ability to work efficiently and, on occasion for extended hours and some weekends
