We are looking for an experienced Residential Property Manager to join a well-established property management company in North London. Responsible for a portfolio of circa. 60 properties, candidates should have relevant experience reviewing tenancy agreements, carrying out property inspections, and be willing and eager develop and grow the residential portfolio.
An exciting and rewarding role, you will be office based 3 days a week, and on site two days a week.
Tasks include:
- Regularly inspecting properties and managing any maintenance issues
- Proactively resolve any works required - sourcing contractors, obtaining quotes
- Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors on a daily basis
- Recording all documentation accurately, ensuring compliance certification and correct licencing is generated as needed
- Conducting Tenant move in and move out inspections, seeking approval for works where necessary
- Taking the lead on formal resident and client liaison including residents' meetings and building relationships with clients and customers.
- Develop & grow the residential portfolio, working closely with our business development manager.
You will be:
- Two years' experience in the field or a similar role
- Proven experience working with tenants, landlords and addressing any issues they raise.
- Experience in property valuations, appraisals, setting rental amounts
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent management skills
- Excellent communicator
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of financial principles
- Must be able to multi-task, instruct & manage assistants workload
