Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our innovative client in Glenrothes to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis.

Our client have a strong reputation delivering high-quality products and services to a global client base and due to a period of growth are looking to hire an experienced, forward thinking and accurate Accounts Assistant to join their established finance team.

The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that daily financial transactions are achieved. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and has a strong understanding of daily financial processes and procedures. The successful candidate will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger duties, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

This role will suit someone who has previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role. You will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices alongside first class numerical skills. As the Accounts Assistant you will be able to work using your own initiative or as part of a team and be able to commit to displaying attention to detail and high levels of accuracy at all times.
