PE Teacher
- Annual Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 plus London Fringe Allowance
- Location: Slough
- Job Type: Full-time, starting September 2024 (or earlier)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join our friendly and vibrant school. With a significant rise in student numbers, we are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic individual to enhance our PE Department. We welcome applications from new entrants to the profession, offering a reduced timetable and an excellent support programme.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality physical education lessons to students across a range of abilities.
- Encourage and inspire students to excel in physical education and sports.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons and schemes of work in line with curriculum objectives.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Foster a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Participate in and organise extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and teams.
- Maintain discipline through adherence to school policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Physical Education or related subject.
- Ability to deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and willingness to learn.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
