  • Annual Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 plus London Fringe Allowance
  • Location: Slough
  • Job Type: Full-time, starting September 2024 (or earlier)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join our friendly and vibrant school. With a significant rise in student numbers, we are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic individual to enhance our PE Department. We welcome applications from new entrants to the profession, offering a reduced timetable and an excellent support programme.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality physical education lessons to students across a range of abilities.
  • Encourage and inspire students to excel in physical education and sports.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons and schemes of work in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Foster a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Participate in and organise extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and teams.
  • Maintain discipline through adherence to school policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or related subject.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and willingness to learn.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
