The FIC Capital Introduction team's objective is to help build strategic relationships with C-suite level representatives across major Hedge Fund clients where capital raising is a key strategic goal. The team targets both traditional platform opportunities (Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage (FXPB) and/or Clearing) as well as additive revenue streams across the broader FIC Franchise (Credit, Structured Solutions Group (SSG), Emerging Markets (EM), Rates/ Foreign Exchange (FX).

The FIC CI team covers over 300 Institutional Allocators globally across Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension, Insurance, Endowments, Foundations, Family Offices, Consultants and Fund of Funds.

The FIC CI team has continued to leverage their targeted investor network to uncover new potential sources of direct revenue for Deutsche Bank's broader FIC franchise across Credit, Structured Solutions, Quantitative Investment Solutions (QIS) & Deutsche Bank Investment Partners (DBIP).

Your responsibility will be to focus on growing platforms revenue and cross-selling initiatives across FIC and expanding the investors network.

Your key responsibilities

  • Coverage of European and Middle East investors who are allocating to alternatives particularly family offices, Endowments and Foundations (E&Fs), and Public/Private Pensions
  • Supporting with the origination of new Hedge Fund launches to our Platform Sales team globally as well as sourcing platform business with established managers
  • Facilitating the interaction between priority managers we choose globally and investors across the Americas region
  • Advising priority managers on their capital raising initiatives which may include strategic positioning, product expansion and competitive intelligence
  • Working with managers and with the appropriate institutional allocators across the European region

Your skills and experience

  • Prior experience in Capital Introduction, Alternatives Allocator, Consulting, Investors Relations or Business Development would be preferred
  • Pre-existing Private funds and/or institutional allocators relationships are required
  • Proven ability to synthesise and communicate complex subject matter, both verbally and in written format
  • Strong communicator, creative and strategic thinker, self-directed, motivated, works well within a team and independently
  • Strong personal interaction and interpersonal skills in order to manage multiple stakeholders internally as well as meet client needs
