Part time or Full time HR Officer - REMOTE WORKING

Reed in Teesside are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated HR Officer to join a growing Nonprofit organisation in Teesside. This role offers the flexibility of homeworking and is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is ready to guide and coordinate people activities within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded HR generalist, preferably with experience in the voluntary or public sector. My client are open to both part time and full time hours (salary would be pro rata based on hours - 21 hours to 35 hours full time)

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide HR support and advice to managers and staff on a wide range of HR issues.
  • A HR Assistant will be reporting into you direct.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organisational objectives and employment legislation.
  • Manage recruitment processes from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Lead on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
  • Support the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and performance.
  • Promote and uphold the organisation's values and culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified to Level 5 CIPD or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an HR generalist, with a broad knowledge base across HR topics.
  • Understanding of the voluntary or public sector is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and with initiative.
