Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: £150 - 215 per day
Dates: September to December
Location: Canterbury/Dover/Deal outskirts

Are you a dedicated Key Stage (KS2) teacher ready to make a significant impact in a supportive and nurturing environment? Three R's have an exciting opportunity for a full-time teacher to teach a mixed class of Years 4, 5 and 6. A challenging yet rewarding role, you'll have the support of two TA's plus HLTA in delivering the curriculum to a small class with a large number of SEN students. Joining a village school with a smaller student capacity, you will be afforded the ability to provide extra nurture and support to this all-inclusive learning environment.

The ideal Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher will:

  • Have experience teaching mixed-age classes in Key Stage 2 (KS2), particularly Years 4, 5, and 6
  • Demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills
  • Be adept at managing and supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the HLTA to enhance student learning

Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of a mixed-ability class
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Utilise the support of teaching assistants and the HLTA effectively
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians and Senior Leadership regarding student progress

Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience with SEN students and mixed-age classes
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Located in Kent with the Right to Work in the UK
