Business Development Manager - healthcare - NHS, contractors, facilities management, M&E consultants - Southeast

I'm currently working with a truly market-leading manufacturer of nurse call alarm / fire alarm systems and software (£2bn group turnover). This company have an excellent culture which is shown by the low staff turnover in the sales team (10+ years average).

This will be a technical sales role focused on developing high-value hospital and prison projects across the Southeast. We're looking for a competent new-business salesperson who has experience selling into the healthcare industry through a range of stakeholders including main contractors, M&E consultants, facilities management companies, and end users (e.g. the NHS).

You will have an engineer dedicated to your territory to provide technical support, therefore experience selling nurse call alarm / fire alarm systems is not essential.

Salary: £55k salary + £6,500 car allowance or company vehicle + uncapped and monthly paid commission (£25k OTE).

Location: Remote/field-based covering the Southeast region.

Duration: Permanent.

Benefits:

  • Lucrative commission when overachieving target (110% = £38k).
  • 25 days holiday + BHs (increasing to 30 after continued service).
  • Excellent progression opportunities.
  • Join an experienced team with a low staff turnover (average tenure of 10+ years).
  • Well known market leading business with £2bn annual revenue.
  • Fully remote working.

Requirements:

  • Strong new business development background within the healthcare sector, working with main contractors, M&E consultants, facilities management companies, and end users (e.g. the NHS).
  • Experience winning high-value solutions/projects.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the Southeast (2-4 days per week).
