We are seeking an Interim Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients dynamic finance team in Watford. **Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify a high volume of invoices (200 a day)
- Payment Management: Prepare and execute payment runs in a timely manner.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records with precision.
- Communication: Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth transactions.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing accounts payable reports and financial statements.
**Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Sage, Xero or similar and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
