Our client is a well knwon law firm based in the West Midlands, known for its outstanding reputation in property law. The firm takes pride in delivering client-focused, high-quality legal services, providing clear and practical advice across a wide range of residential property matters.

Role Overview:

The firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Conveyancing Legal Executive to join their property team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, providing expert legal advice and ensuring a smooth process from instruction to completion. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to clients, while meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents
  • Conducting property searches, and ensuring due diligence on all transactions
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate progress on transactions
  • Handling exchanges of contracts and completions, ensuring all legal formalities are met
  • Advising clients on legal issues related to property transactions and addressing any concerns
  • Maintaining accurate records and files using the firm's case management system
  • Staying updated with relevant conveyancing laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Qualified Legal Executive (CILEx) with experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Strong knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and other legal software
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
