My client are looking for a Facilities Supervisor who is dedicated to ensuring that clients receive a warm welcome and that team members have the facilities required to deliver excellent service. This role is central to maintaining a clean, well-organised office environment and fostering a supportive culture within the Facilities team.
Day to Day of the role:
- Supervise the Facilities team, promoting teamwork and a supportive culture.
- Oversee the maintenance of the day-to-day needs of the business.
- Review and negotiate supplier costs to ensure best prices.
- Provide a consistently warm and professional welcome to all visitors.
- Monitor the facilities inbox, responding to enquiries appropriately.
- Assist with office moves and workstation setups, keeping the office floor plan updated.
- Manage external contractors for cleaning, maintenance, and ad-hoc requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the building, including client and communal areas and ensure it is well-stocked with refreshments.
- Transport items between offices and other locations as necessary.
- Cover reception duties in the absence of the receptionist.
- Maintain the company property register and asset log.
- Oversee the health and safety of the building, including fire alarm checks and evacuations.
- Support maintenance projects and update the site maintenance log.
- Conduct building inspections and report any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a team leader.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Team player with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Full, clean driving licence.
