Maintenance Operative

A position has arisen for a temporary to permanent Maintenance Operative within an established public sector organisation Buckinghamshire.
Your duties will include:
- Providing repairs on a reactive basis
- Supporting a wide variety of maintenance jobs on a flexible basis, with significant opportunity to learn and develop new skills in building fabric, plumbing, carpentry, redecoration, basic electrics, equipment repairs, furniture build and repair
- Reporting faults identified either when carrying out routine checks/planned preventative maintenance
- Liaising with a range of internal and external contractors
- Completing paperwork after each job promptly and accurately
- Supporting any emergency situations on site
The successful candidate should have:
- You must have previous experience carrying out maintenance duties and have your own basic tools
- Full & Clean driving license as you will sometimes need to get between sites
- Please note a standard DBS will be required for this position
