Our Client:
Is a leading distributor of premium automotive maintenance equipment and a provider of essential support services and training in the UK & Ireland. With its diverse range of customers from franchise dealers, tyre shops, general repair workshops, body-shops and car manufacturers, the business has continued to enjoy year on year success and is now searching for additional team members to join their engineering department.
Responsibilities:
- Take part in training on products, equipment & internal processes.
- Assembly & Installation of equipment both at head office and on client sites.
- Travelling throughout the UK, including overnight stays when required.
- Delivery of equipment to customer sites.
- Training customers on new equipment.
- Carrying out calibrations and upgrades on equipment where required
Potential for progression including:
- Training the internal team on installations, processes, etc.
- Maintenance and services for client equipment.
- Identifying sales opportunities and receiving commission on sales!
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years' experience within an Installations Engineer role is essential.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to be trained on products/equipment and take this to complete the installations process.
- Experience within the Automotive industry is desired.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to train customers on equipment.
- UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK - please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas applicants.
