Religious Education Teacher - September 2024
A 'Good' Ofsted rated mainstream secondary school in Merton are looking to appoint an RE Teacher starting in September 2024. The school require a RE Teacher who can teach Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. ECTs are welcomed to apply!
The school is oversubscribed with over 1200 students on roll. They are passionate about supporting teachers with their career development and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and following school policies.
- Teach RE across KS3 - KS5 for varying abilities.
- Mark work, assess and track student progress.
- Create and maintain a stimulating environment for students.
- Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies when necessary.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status or working towards QTS.
- Excellent subject knowledge.
- Passionate, enthusiastic and engaged with student learning.
- Great team player and works well independently.
- Dedication to continuous professional development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
