Job Description:

As a Primary Teacher SEMH with Complete Classroom Services, you will play a crucial role in teaching the students with special needs in their educational journey. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Develop the nurture group, ensuring barriers to learning are reduced.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and motivating lessons.
  • Identify individual learning needs, monitor and review progress of all pupils.
  • Set targets on half termly basis. Prepare school reports.
  • Support parents/carers with home learning.
  • Able to work in partnership with other agencies and providers.

Requirements:

  • Be prepared to undertake positive handling training.
  • QTS.
  • Special Educational Needs qualification or experience in the area of challenging behaviour.
  • And understanding of methods in reviewing and evaluating teaching.
  • Understanding of behaviour management skills.
  • Subject to DBS and Right to work checks.
