Job Description:
As a Primary Teacher SEMH with Complete Classroom Services, you will play a crucial role in teaching the students with special needs in their educational journey. Your responsibilities may include:
- Develop the nurture group, ensuring barriers to learning are reduced.
- Plan and deliver engaging and motivating lessons.
- Identify individual learning needs, monitor and review progress of all pupils.
- Set targets on half termly basis. Prepare school reports.
- Support parents/carers with home learning.
- Able to work in partnership with other agencies and providers.
Requirements:
- Be prepared to undertake positive handling training.
- QTS.
- Special Educational Needs qualification or experience in the area of challenging behaviour.
- And understanding of methods in reviewing and evaluating teaching.
- Understanding of behaviour management skills.
- Subject to DBS and Right to work checks.
