IN2Consult / Assistant Management Accountant / 6 month FTC / up to £45,000 pa / Hybrid / Part Qualified / Media / Whitechappel
IN2Consult are working with a well established media company who are on the lookout for an assistant management accountant to join their team for the next 6 months. For this role they can offer up to £45,000 pa (pro-rata) & you will get two days of remote working per week. Please see below the responsibilities & skillset required -
Responsibilities -
- Month End Ledger Close – Closing all ledgers (Sales, Purchase, General Ledger) including revaluation journals.
- Preparing aged debtors reconciliation and working with Production Finance and Corporate Finance teams on status of aged balances.
- Checking bank reconciliations.
- Preparing Fixed Asset reconciliation.
- Reviewing of inter-production reconciliations with productions.
- Preparing VAT reconciliation and investigate and correct all reconciling items.
- Facilitating various company recharges to/from production on a periodic basis.
- Preparing Quarterly VAT returns.
- Participating in ad hoc management information data preparation.
- Supporting senior accountants with process improvements and month-end close.
- Contributing to shortening month-end close processes.
Beneficial Skills -
- Part qualified.
- Excellent level of communication.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- 2 years experience in a similar role.
