We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the redesign and implementation of an integrated model to improve service access, responsiveness, and efficiency within our 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service. This role is crucial in delivering the Healthy Child Programme and ensuring high-quality integrated care and services to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families across the Borough of Barnsley.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Lead the redesign and implementation of an integrated service model using digital technologies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including IT, customer service, and service users to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide timely advice and support to service users and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilise and enhance digital technologies to improve service delivery.
- Manage project resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in project management within a large organisation, preferably in public sector or local authority.
- Experience in health or social care settings is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and familiar with digital technologies.
- Enhanced DBS required.
