TimePlan Education is seeking a committed and experienced English Teacher for a temp-to-perm role at a school in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 and help students develop a love for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the school's scheme of work.
- Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 English, adapting content to meet diverse student needs.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback and monitoring progress.
- Participate in parents' evenings and communicate effectively with parents about student performance.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities and attend additional training to enhance teaching practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student development.
