Job Title - Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary - £24k

Location - Horwich

Who is the business?

Our client is a brilliant, Horwich-based business who were established over 150 years ago and have been servicing the local area ever since.

What's the role?

This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is in the early stages of their finance career. You'll work alongside the 2 established Purchase Ledger Clerks to

  • Match, batch, and code invoices,
  • Enter data into the accounts purchase ledger.
  • Verify costs for approval.
  • Address internal and external queries with suppliers.

When and where?

You'll be based in the office in Horwich and will be there each day.

Standard hours are 9 - 5, but if you wanted to alter these at all, the client is flexible and understands that people have commitments! If you decided that part-time is an option you'd prefer, the client could also consider 4 days per week.

What qualifications / experience do I need?

  • At least 6 months of experience working within a Finance / Administration role
