Part Time Purchase Ledger Assistant

The Role:

Nigel Wright are delighted to be working exclusively with a high performing and friendly business based in Consett who have an exciting opening for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk! This is a permanent vacancy within a super friendly and hardworking Finance team who continue to produce strong financial results.

The core responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Processing of supplier invoices and credit notes on ERP system
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Raising supplier payments for approval
  • Regular reviews of accounts checking for unallocated payments
  • Supporting the wider Finance Team in other projects as and when required

About you:

Ideally, the business are looking for somebody who has experience in Accounts Payable and is ready for a new challenge! Team work is very important to them, so it's key that they find somebody who can add to their already thriving, friendly culture.

  • Good knowledge of Purchase Ledger process (evidenced within previous work experience)
  • Wants to make a difference and improve processes where required
  • Confident communicator, friendly and approachable
  • Enjoys office based working
