We're working with a highly-regarded, impressive law firm, who are currently looking for a BD Manager to support their corporates division. Whilst 5 days would be a preference, for the right candidate, a 4 day part-time role could be potentially considered.

The Role
As a BD Manager, you will effectively be the strategic advisor to the corporates TMG lead and group. You'll be advising on market strategy recommending client care, BD&M initiatives and more. As an overview, in this capacity, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working as the right-hand to the lead, working closely to guarantee the role is focused, effective, and carried out efficiently
  • Co-chairing meetings, providing insight and appropriately challenging partners to provide recommendations
  • Collaborating with the wider team
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of the market, conducting market trend analysis
  • Working on strategy development with the group
  • Developing an implementation plan, ensuring budget and resource are focused, whilst prioritising outcomes and collaboration
  • Monitoring financials, and resolving any profitability/efficiency issues
  • Having input within pricing discussions
  • Identifying new opportunities, providing expert advice on how to promote the services and brand
  • Managing client development, and driving cross-selling
  • Working alongside the bids and client relationship teams
  • Ensuring social posts are beneficial for clients, and very engaging
  • Guaranteeing deliverables are on-brand and carried out to a high quality
  • Making sure the business is involved with key market events
  • Other ad hoc duties

About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Experience as a trusted advisor
  • Proven experience reducing volume and increasing quality, as well as improving results
  • Strong organisational/project management skills
