They are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start. Your new role
This job requires a hands-on Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for overseeing the day-day running of the finances, providing legal cashier services and some general bookkeeping. This will include accounts receivable and payable, processing of client and office payments and receipts on Bankline and Leap (case management software), bank reconciliations, bookkeeping rapid pay conciliations, purchase&nominal ledger invoices and payments and raising invoices for payments.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, we're looking for someone who is proactive, can work independently and as part of a team. You will be flexible and adaptable to a legal environment, with the ability to work at a fast pace. Strong experience of accounting software such as Xero and IT skills Microsoft and Excel are desirable for this role. Having experience in a legal environment, such as understanding SRA account rules, is preferred but not essential, provided you can demonstrate the necessary experience required.
