Role Overview:
As a Senior Transport Planner, you will work at a senior level, taking ownership of all planning activities for a fleet of articulated vehicles and drivers. You will be comfortable in planning under pressure to ensure maximum revenue while adhering to legal constraints and maintaining high standards of customer service. You will also support and work with the Directors to shape the future growth of the business.
This is a key role within the business for that we reason, we are looking for someone who has:
- Must have 2+ years' experience in general haulage.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in transport planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and running costs.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPC qualification or working towards it.
- Proficient computer skills.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm.
Saturday mornings on a rota basis (to be discussed further during interview).
