We are working with a leading contract caterer and looking for a Head Chef for a site based in Sutton Coldfield. This location is open 7 days a week and offers a breakfast/lunch/dinner and supper service for staff on site. The site is closed on both Christmas day and also New years day so you will be off then as well.
The Head Chef mainly work Monday to Friday with flexibility needed as some weekend shifts may be required and an occasional late shift may be needed as well to ensure standards are maintained when the HC is not on site.
There is a weekly changing menu that is centrally produced with the opportunity of the Head Chef choosing daily / weekly specials as well. You will cater for around 150-200 at each service with hot main options as well as Grab and Go and small Deli bar as well.
Leading a team of 3/4 Chefs and support this is a very hands on role and you will work closely with the Catering Manager to ensure a daily food service up to the required standards,
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef who is well organised and cooked for large numbers before, this role is also available immediately and you will be joining a leading caterer so would have numerous progression opportunities in the future if required.
