Senior Manager, M&A and Corporate Development

M&A and partnerships are an important part of how we respond, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to help lead this agenda

About the role

As part of a small team, you would report to the Director of Strategy and M&A, and work closely with legal and finance teams to

  • Lead evaluation of M&A opportunities, inbound and outbound, presenting recommendations to senior management and the Executive
  • Provide commercial, structure and negotiation support in developing and assessing partnership opportunities
  • Lead execution of transactions from inception to completion, working with business and deal teams, including managing DD process
  • Maintain contacts with advisors to act as initial port of call
  • Support on strategic or corporate development projects as required

What you'll need to have

  • Experience of M&A in a professional or corporate environment
  • Ability to project manage transactions through the lifecycle
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and structures simply to senior management

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience in the retail or healthcare sectors
  • A financial qualification (eg ACA)
