Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2025.

Salary: £11.64 per hour

We're looking for someone to work during our core hours of 9am-5pm which will include holidays, bank holidays, half term holidays and weekend shifts; this can be discussed at interview (No Evenings & No Split Shifts).

This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible.

Your contractual location will be Formby, but you'll also work at Rufford Old Hall.

What it's like to work here

Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you'll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to all our visitors, every day. As a Welcome & Service Assistant, it's your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place you'll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.

You will be required to drive vehicles including vans between car parks therefore a Full UK Driving Licence is required.

The Hours We're looking for someone to work during our core hours of 9am-5pm. Hours available will include holidays, bank holidays and weekend shifts; to be discussed at interview. Flexible hours to be discussed at interview with a variety of shift patterns available, however it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern occasionally to suit the needs of the business. We'd give you as much notice of this as possible and discuss this with you.

Willing to work outside in all weathers and deliver tasks when the weather conditions aren't ideal.

Comfortable working in a flexible and adaptable way within a busy environment, the successful candidate will be positive with an approachable attitude.
