About Us:

Our client are a successful Chemical company who are leaders in their field, committed to excellence and innovation. They strive to maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance in all of their operations. We are looking on their behalf for a dedicated Regulatory Coordinator to join their dynamic team and help them navigate the complex landscape of chemical regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authoring and Management of SDS and GHS Labels: Create and manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels to ensure full compliance with UK, European, and global regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements and ensure our products meet all necessary compliance standards across various regions.
  • Poison Centre Notifications (PCN) Dossiers: Compile and submit PCN dossiers to meet the specific requirements of each Member State, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Unique Formula Identifier (UFI) Assessments: Conduct UFI assessments to maintain compliance with Member State requirements, ensuring the safe and effective use of our chemical products.
  • Chemical Compliance: Oversee and manage all aspects of chemical compliance, including monitoring changes in regulations and implementing necessary updates to our processes and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in regulatory affairs within the chemical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDS authoring, GHS labeling, and chemical regulations in the UK, Europe, and globally.
  • Strong understanding of Poison Centre Notifications (PCN) and Unique Formula Identifier (UFI) requirements would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
