Job Title: Locum Democratic Services Officer
Location: Midlands
Rate: Up to £30 per hour Umbrella
Working Hours: Full Time, hybrid working with office presence required for committee meetings (evenings)
Venn Group's specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in the Midlands in their search for an experienced Locum Democratic Services Officer. This is a full-time position where you will be expected to deal with the Council's democratic services functions.
Duties include:
- Attend meetings, take notes, and liaise with officers and external bodies
- Implement decisions through correspondence, reports, and collaboration
- Maintain records of Council, Cabinet, Panel, and committee minutes
- Assisting in organising civic events and training other officers
- Prepare service meetings and prepare agendas, reports, and minutes
This post is full time (37 hours per week) on a hybrid basis offering up to £30 per hour Umbrella.
