Our Skills Bootcamps aim to bridge the skills gap across various industries by offering strategic and theoretical training in areas such as Digital Marketing, Digital Business Skills, Leadership and Management, and the Future of Construction.

About the Role

The Project Administrator will be expected to support the project team with the collation of project evidence and monthly claim submissions and communicate with project learners. The Project Administrator will also fulfil the role of the Learner Support Coordinator, liaising with learners who have enrolled onto a Skills Bootcamp and ensure they remain engaged whilst on the course.

Key Responsibilities:

No two days are ever the same and we need a proactive, and driven person to support the delivery of our programs in the region. Working in a small team, as the Project Administrator, you will be expected to undertake the following:

  • Support the Project Coordinator with the collation of project specific evidence and monthly claim submissions
  • Manage the invoices submitted to the office in a timely manner
  • Management of the project inbox
  • Fulfil the Learner Support Coordinator role; liaising with learners who have enrolled onto a Skill Bootcamp and ensure they remain engaged whilst on course
  • Ensure all project paperwork is collated and stored securely
  • Responsible for communicating with and sending project documentation to learners
  • Manage Basecamp for Skills Bootcamp learners, the project management platform utilised for the course
  • Coordinate logistics and provide admin support for meetings and events
  • Assisting with graphic creation for Social Media and marketing collateral
  • Ensuring that our client evidence records, and CRM system are completed
  • Any other admin support as required by the Programme Director
  • Always deliver excellent client service to learners. The maintenance of our quality standards and building of a strong reputation is of great importance
  • Proactively seek to add value to the service, our clients, funder, and partner, and the company as a whole

Person Specifications:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in project administration
  • Effectively manage time and strategically prioritise
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate the ability and desire to work supportively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and a self-starter with an attitude of going the extra mile to support the team, our partners, and our clients
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace change and development
  • Excellent written and spoken English and highly IT literate, with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Zoom
  • Presenting experience and confidence in communicating with a wide range of people and organisations
  • Ability and flexibility to travel to other locations for project delivery, such as Exeter, Plymouth, Cornwall and Bristol

Desirable:

  • A demonstrable ability to network with, and build and maintain, relationships with a variety of stakeholder organisations
  • Knowledge of the public sector or similar funding sectors - such as Shared Prosperity Fund, Skills for Life etc.
  • Experience of working with hard-to-reach communities
  • An understanding of the local SME community and barriers to growth
