Credit Controller
- Salary: £26,000-£27,000

- Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days optional home working)

As a credit controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation's financial health, directly contributing to the support of their ongoing preservation and maintenance efforts.
Day to Day of the role:
- Manage debt collections and credit risk assessments.
- Drive the digitalisation of services to enhance efficiency.
- Handle both commercial and residential accounts, ensuring timely collection of all debts.
- Engage with commercial customers and provide credit support to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct credit risk assessments for new applications and open new accounts.
- Offer support to the credit control team on our payment line.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify reasons for non/withheld payments and devise effective strategies for collection
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience within a busy credit control function.
- Excellent written, and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to converse and influence at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, self-motivated with a sense of accountability.
- Strong commercial awareness and numerical accuracy.
- Proficient in interpreting financial data with a keen attention to detail.
- Capable of information gathering, problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, and working to multiple tight deadlines.
