Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Hammersmith
About Us: A Theatre / Production Agency, based in Hammersmith.
Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of financial principles. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's financial processes and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
