We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our dynamic team at a high-achieving secondary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of religion, philosophy, and ethics.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Develop students' understanding of various religions, ethical viewpoints, and cultural perspectives.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and participate in school-wide activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational experience and ethos of the school.
**Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/Equivalent) and/or previous Religious Studies Teacher experience.
- Previous experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary school level is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of different religions, philosophies, and ethical frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
