About the Role:

As a Learning Support Worker, you will:

  • Plan and Deliver: Create and implement individual learning programmes for 1:1 or small groups.
  • Safeguard: Prioritize the safety and well-being of pupils, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Support: Help pupils with Special Educational Needs access learning throughout the school day.
  • Keyworker: Act as a trusted adult, guiding young people to make positive choices and overcome barriers to learning.
  • Encourage: Foster strategies for managing behaviour, anger, and frustration.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with other staff members and contribute to the On Track community.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency meetings.
  • Promote: Boost self-esteem and independence among pupils.
  • Prepare: Create materials, displays, and resources as needed.
  • Transport: Use your own vehicle to transport children and young people, ensuring it is insured for business use.
