Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 7am-4.00pm / 8am-5.00pm including 1 hour lunch

We are looking for the right individual who will thrive in a customer driven, future focused, proactive and friendly environment to join our internal HSQE Team in the role of Senior HSQE Manager, based at our Wickford Head Office, with requirements to travel to our depots in Rochford and Rugby.

Our HSQE Team pride themselves on working as one and delivering exceptional quality and service for the business. In this new role, the Senior HSQE Manager will lead the department by assisting in the development and delivery of HSQE objectives and key performance indicators, while taking the strategic lead in the management, development, and implementation of the Company's Health & Safety obligations.

Ideally educated to degree level, and/or qualified to NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Health and Safety compliance and requirements needed within a business, while championing the importance of sustainability and environmental issues within our industry.

You'll also have the additional duties set out by senior management or tasks that occur, requiring your flexibility and proactiveness. You must have a proven history of working in a senior health and safety position with experience of compiling policies and procedures, running audits and handling investigations when required.

As a Senior Leader you will be expected to be accountable for your actions and assist with encouraging others to work in the same way, ensuring the company culture is displayed throughout. You must be a people person with an ability to demonstrate understanding and supportiveness.
